What is POSCO ?

POSCO stands for Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences.

This Act was introduced in 2012 for protection of children from sexual offences, sexual harassment, pornography etc. Any boy or girl below the age of 18 years is considered as a "Child" under the Act. Special courts have been designated for trial of offences with conducive and child friendly atmosphere.
