What is domestic violence ?
Domestic Violence deals with cruelty by a husband or his family towards towards a married woman. Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code deals with physical and mental cruelty against the wife. Domestic Violence also involves cases of abetment to suicide, demand of dowry, etc.
